Norilsk Nickel Jan–Jun RAS net profit rises 32% to 328 bln rbl

MOSCOW, Jul 22 (PRIME) -- The net profit of Russian metals giant Norilsk Nickel grew by 32% on the year to 328.185 billion rubles in January–June, as calculated under Russian Accounting Standards (RAS), the company said in a statement on Friday.

Revenue gained 28.5% to 425.626 billion rubles, the gross profit grew by 5% to 201.090 billion rubles and the sales profit remained almost flat on the year at 165.105 billion rubles.

The cost of sales rose by 60% to 224.535 billion rubles, and the pretax profit increased by 46% to 413.912 billion rubles.
